    This thin clutch bag is made of thinly split bamboo about 2mm wide and 0.2mm thick, dyed two colors of brown (light and dark), and woven into an expressive shape. The bag is about 6 cm thick (about 1.5 cm thinner than the clutch bag) and slim.

    The inside of the bag (lining) is covered with gold brocade fabric, and the center divider has a pocket with a zipper and a pocket for cards, etc.

Surprisingly lightweight bamboo bags

Kisetsu's bamboo basket bags are made of carefully selected madake bamboo, thinly plowed and painstakingly woven into an "Ajiro" style weave. The thickness of the bamboo strips used differs from bag to bag, but the thin ones are as thin as 0.2 mm, and are characterized by their light weight.

Long-lasting bamboo material

Bamboo baskets are said to be "finished with hand fat," and the more you use them, the more shiny they become and the more you can enjoy the aging process. However, since it takes a long time to achieve this, bamboo basket bags are finished with a wax polish to prevent the bamboo from cracking and to keep them looking shiny until they are used and finished.
