【Craftsmanship and Attention to Detail】

Unprecedented lacquered glass

This new tableware combines the coolness of glass with the texture of the lacquered glass. The idea was developed together with the Nagano Prefectural Industrial Technology Research Institute, and in 1994, Maruka Kosaka Lacquerware was born as Maruka Kosaka Lacquerware, successfully matching lacquer and glass.

Metal cutlery can be used despite the lacquer.

Unlike conventional lacquerware, metal cutlery can be used because the outside of the bowl is coated with lacquer. This allows for the unrestricted use of lacquerware in various settings, such as serving oily foods.

Beautiful design reminiscent of a kaleidoscope

The paintings, which are carefully applied one by one by a craftsman with a fine brush, are reflected delicately through the transparency of the glass. The beauty of the piece is reminiscent of the kaleidoscopes that were once known as "100-color glasses" and are full of individuality.
